Pit liner replacement

The scope of work includes earth preparation, subbase construction, and liner replacement for the designated pit area and access road, as per the provided layout. Key activities include:

·         Grading, leveling, and compaction of the highlighted area and pit access road.

·         Laying 15 cm of subbase Type A, compacted to achieve 95% Maximum Dry Density (MDD).

·         Laying 2 cm of crushed gravel, compacted over the same areas for surface finishing.

·         Cutting and removing the existing liner, including transportation to the DNO scrap yard.

· Supply and installation of a new 2mm liner, with all necessary inspections and tests to be witnessed and approved by DNO QA/QC before final handover.

·         Construction of a 50cm high subbase berm along the west side of the pit, as shown in the layout.
